Stroll

Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 July 2026

Stroll is a photo cleanup app. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we do not, and why.

The short version: your photos never leave your device. Stroll reads your library locally to show it to you and to delete what you choose. No photo, thumbnail or derivative is ever uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Photos and your library

Stroll requests access to your photo library so it can display your photos and delete the ones you queue. All of that happens on your device. We operate no image storage, and photo data is never transmitted off the phone.

The record of what you have already reviewed, your Archive queue and your preferences are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes them.

Account information

If you sign in, we store the details your sign-in provider gives us so we can keep your account and referral status:

Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email address, and Stroll works fully with a private relay address. You can use the app without an account, though referrals require one.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage events, such as which screens are opened and how many photos are cleaned in a session, to understand which parts of the app work. These events are tied to a random identifier, never to your photos. We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Our payments provider tells us only whether a purchase is active.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers that run the app: authentication and database hosting, analytics, purchase processing, and crash reporting. They process it on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete it at any time from the deletion page or in the app under Profile. Deletion removes your account and its associated records. Local data disappears when you delete the app.

Children

Stroll is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Write to hello@stroll.photos and we will action it.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
